On Sunday 31st of August, three brave souls from DBS Services & Airflow Design Services attended the Spartan Run course in Uckfield, East Sussex.
Their aim was to take on and complete the Spartan Super – a gruelling 13 kilometre run with 21 obstacles to attempt across the rolling Sussex countryside. As the last group of competitors on the day, the spot light was upon them to come home before dark !
With challenges ranging from chest high mud, root infested ponds, log & atlas stone carry’s, barb wire crawls, rope climbs, monster hill climbs and even spear throwing, the lads came home in a respectable 2 hours and 13 mins as a group.
With over 3,000 competitors attending during the weekend, the guys ranked in the top third at 1,174.
A tough challenge but one taken on with gusto and completed with pride ! Well done all.
